  • Spay & Neuter Surgery: Routine ovariohysterectomy (spay) and castration procedures for dogs and cats.
  • Tumor & Mass Removal: Surgical removal of skin and soft-tissue masses when appropriate. For pets being treated for cancer, our hospital also offers chemotherapy when indicated as part of an individualized treatment plan.
  • Soft-Tissue Surgery: A variety of abdominal and other soft-tissue procedures based on your pet’s condition and individual needs.
  • Wound & Trauma Surgery: Surgical cleaning, debridement, and repair of lacerations, bite wounds, abscesses, and other traumatic injuries.
  • Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO): An orthopedic procedure that removes the femoral head to relieve pain and restore mobility in appropriate patients with severe hip disease or injury.
  • Total Ear Canal Ablation (TECA): Surgical removal of a severely diseased ear canal for selected patients suffering from chronic, painful, or irreversible ear disease.
  • Enucleation: Surgical removal of a severely diseased, damaged, or painful eye when preserving the eye is no longer possible or in the patient’s best interest.
  • Corrective Soft-Tissue Procedures: Selected procedures to correct anatomical problems that cause chronic irritation, discomfort, or interfere with normal function, including stenotic nares repair and episioplasty when medically appropriate.
  • Dental Cleaning & Extractions: Professional dental cleaning under anesthesia as well as extraction of diseased, damaged, or mobile teeth and retained deciduous (baby) teeth.

While in our surgical suite, your pet is never left alone. Throughout anesthesia, a trained veterinary team member monitors your pet’s condition and vital signs, including heart rate, blood oxygen level, respiration, temperature, and blood pressure, using physiological monitoring equipment.

3. Multi-Modal Pain Management

We believe in treating pain before it even begins. We utilize a multi-modal pain management philosophy, combining pre-operative sedatives, localized nerve blocks, and post-operative medications.
